What Is a Favorite Stock Decrease Notification?

  • The app automatically checks the stock level of favorited items.
  • If the stock falls below the set quantity, it sends notifications via email or LINE to customers who favorited the item.
  • This helps prevent inventory stagnation and improves turnover.
  • Depending on the notification timing and stock threshold settings, the item may be sold out by the time the customer accesses it.

Easy Low Stock Notification Setup

  • With StoreCRM, you can easily set up low stock notifications without installing any additional apps.
  • Please make sure that the StoreCRM app is installed on your Shopify store beforehand.
  • To enable the Favorite Button, you need to subscribe to the Standard Plan or higher of StoreCRM.
  • Before setting up the low stock notification scenario, please add the Favorite Button to your product detail pages.

Add Scenario

Click [Stock Low for Favorited Item] to add the scenario.

Set Time for First Notification After Low Stock Detected

  • It is more effective to set the notification time as soon as possible after the stock decreases.
  • For example, “1 hour” is selected here.
  • You can choose from minutes, hours, or days after the stock falls below the threshold.

Set Stock Threshold for Sending Notifications

  • Set the stock quantity at which the notification message will be sent.
  • For example, the threshold is set to “10.”
  • The message will be sent when the stock reaches 10 units.
  • Depending on the timing and stock threshold settings, the item may be sold out by the time the customer accesses it.
  • Adjust the threshold based on your store’s customer volume, product popularity, and number of favoriting customers.
  • To create a new email, go to [Messages] → [Email List].
  • You can use a template to send the email, or create your own custom email.

  • You can also send the LINE message at the same time.

Configure Follow-Up Notifications

  • Check the box for [Send a second email].
  • Set up the email to be sent using the same steps as for the first email.
  • Sending different content in the first and subsequent emails can help increase conversion rates.

  • You can also filter the data by specific scenarios or emails.
  • Click [Download this data (Shift_JIS for Microsoft Excel)] or [Download this data (UTF-8 for non-Microsoft Excel)] to export the data.
