How to Add a Favorite Button

  • The favorite button refers to the “heart” or “star” icon displayed on a product page. By clicking this button, customers can save products as favorites.
  • The favorite button not only improves customer convenience but also contributes to increased store sales.
  • To enable the favorite button feature, you must be subscribed to the Pro Plan or higher of StoreCRM.

What is the Favorite Button?

Easy Favorite Button Setup

  • With StoreCRM, you can add a favorite button without installing any additional apps.
  • Please make sure that the StoreCRM app is installed on your Shopify store beforehand.
  • To add the favorite button, you need to subscribe to the Standard Plan or higher of StoreCRM.

Add Button to Product Detail Page

  • Go to Shopify → [Online Store] → [Themes].
  • Click [Customize] to open the product detail page of a test product.
  • Click [Add block] → [Apps] → [Favorite Button] to add the favorite button to the product detail page.
  • If everything looks good, click [Save].

Check in Preview Mode

  • In the customization screen, click […] → [View] at the top left of the product detail page.
  • On the preview page of the test product, confirm that the favorite button is displayed.

Add Favorites List to Global Navigation

  • Add [Favorites List] to the global navigation.
  • Go to Shopify → [Content] → [Navigation] and edit the global navigation menu.
  • Enter “Favorites” as the label and “/apps/obake/favorites” as the link.
  • Click [Save].

Check in Preview Screen

  • In the customization screen, click […] → [View] at the top left of the product detail page.
  • On the preview page, confirm that [Favorites] appears in the global navigation.

Check Favorites List

Click [Favorites] and confirm that the Favorites List is displayed.

Button Customization Available

  • You can customize the color and design of the favorite button.
  • Customization is available in StoreCRM → [Settings] → [Favorites Settings].
  • If you check [Limit use of favorite feature to members only], only customers who have registered with the store will be able to use the favorite feature.
  • The Favorites List screen can also be customized.

Check Registered Customers

  • The names, email addresses, and favorited items of customers who registered favorites can be viewed in StoreCRM → [Customers] → [Favorites List].
  • Customers who added favorites without logging in will be shown as “Guest”.
