Use this flow to reduce mistyped email addresses and duplicate subscriptions by the same customer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What you can do<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Direct logged-out customers to log in or create an account<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Automatically subscribe to email or LINE back-in-stock notifications when the customer returns to the product page after login<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Let logged-in customers subscribe to email or LINE back-in-stock notifications with one click<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Change the button to \"Subscribed\" for products that already have a back-in-stock notification subscription<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Customize the text, colors, and button design of the login prompt popup<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Setup steps<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1. On a product page in your Shopify store, check the appearance and behavior of the back-in-stock notification button for an out-of-stock product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><thead><tr><th>Settings<\/th><th>Description<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td>Restrict back-in-stock notifications to members<\/td><td>When turned on, logged-out customers who click the back-in-stock notification button see a login prompt instead of an email entry popup. When turned off, guests can subscribe by entering their email address as before.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Automatically subscribe to back-in-stock notifications after login<\/td><td>This is available when members-only access is on. After login or account creation, the customer is automatically subscribed to email back-in-stock notifications when they return to the product page. For LINE notifications, customers with a linked LINE account are automatically subscribed for the saved product and variant.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Let logged-in customers subscribe with one click<\/td><td>When a logged-in customer clicks the back-in-stock notification button, they can subscribe without entering their email address or re-entering information from their linked LINE account.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Show logged-in customers when they are already subscribed<\/td><td>If a logged-in customer already has a back-in-stock notification subscription for the product or variant, the product page button changes to \"Subscribed.\"<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Destination URL when a guest clicks the back-in-stock notification button<\/td><td>Specify where customers are sent after clicking the login button in the login prompt popup. If left blank, they are sent to the store login page. A parameter for returning to the product page is added automatically.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Login prompt popup<\/td><td>Configure the title, body text, login button, cancel button, background color, text color, overlay, corner radius, width, and other properties shown to logged-out customers.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Customer experience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Logged-out customers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When \"Restrict back-in-stock notifications to members\" is off, clicking the back-in-stock notification button displays an email entry popup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When it is on, a login prompt popup appears. Clicking the login button takes the customer to the store login page or the URL you configured. After login, the customer returns to the original product page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When \"Automatically subscribe to back-in-stock notifications after login\" is on, the notification is subscribed automatically when the customer returns to the product page, and a completion popup appears. Email notifications use the logged-in customer's email address, while LINE notifications use the customer's linked LINE account. When it is off, the customer must click the back-in-stock notification button again after returning to the product page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Logged-in customers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When \"Let logged-in customers subscribe with one click\" is on, logged-in customers can subscribe to email back-in-stock notifications without entering any information. Customers with a linked LINE account can also subscribe to LINE back-in-stock notifications without entering information. If LINE is not linked, a prompt to link LINE appears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When it is off, even logged-in customers subscribe through the standard popup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When using LINE back-in-stock notifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The members-only, automatic subscription after login, and one-click subscription settings also apply to the LINE back-in-stock notification button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When a logged-out customer clicks the LINE back-in-stock notification button, they are prompted to log in or create an account. After login, if their LINE account is linked, they are automatically subscribed to a LINE notification for the saved product and variant when they return to the product page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If LINE is not linked, a prompt to link LINE appears. After linking is complete, the customer returns to the product page and the LINE back-in-stock notification is subscribed without clicking the button again. A Shopify login alone cannot identify the LINE notification destination, so customers whose LINE account is not linked must complete LINE linking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Customers already subscribed<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When \"Show logged-in customers when they are already subscribed\" is on, the button displays \"Subscribed\" for products with an active back-in-stock notification subscription. The button is disabled to prevent duplicate subscriptions for the same product or variant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The subscription status is checked when the product page loads and when the selected variant changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recommended settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><thead><tr><th>Purpose<\/th><th>Recommended settings<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td>Encourage account creation while simplifying subscription<\/td><td>Turn on \"Members only,\" \"Automatic subscription after login,\" \"One-click subscription,\" and \"Subscribed status.\"<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Keep guest subscriptions while simplifying the process for members<\/td><td>Turn off \"Members only,\" and turn on \"One-click subscription\" and \"Subscribed status.\"<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Keep the existing guest subscription flow unchanged<\/td><td>Turn off \"Members only\" and \"Automatic subscription after login.\" Customize only the button and popup design as needed.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Notes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>When members-only access is on, logged-out customers can no longer subscribe to back-in-stock notifications by entering only an email address.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Automatic subscription after login requires the logged-in customer's email address. If the email address cannot be retrieved, the notification is not subscribed automatically and the customer must click the button again.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The subscribed status is shown only to logged-in customers. Subscription status is not checked for logged-out customers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The subscribed status applies to active back-in-stock notification subscriptions. Deleted or already-sent subscriptions might not appear as subscribed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One-click subscription to LINE back-in-stock notifications requires the customer's LINE account to be linked.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For multilingual stores, configure login and member behavior in the default language. The login prompt popup text can be customized for each locale.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Troubleshooting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The login prompt does not appear<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Confirm that \"Restrict back-in-stock notifications to members\" is on. Also confirm that the StoreCRM back-in-stock notification button is installed on the Shopify product page and that the selected variant is out of stock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The notification is not subscribed automatically after login<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Confirm that \"Automatically subscribe to back-in-stock notifications after login\" is on. Automatic subscription does not occur if the customer does not return to the original product page after login, their email address cannot be retrieved, or their LINE account is not linked for a LINE notification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The button does not show that the customer is already subscribed<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Confirm that the customer is logged in and \"Show logged-in customers when they are already subscribed\" is on.
